In Europe, many of the first museums to reopen were the smallest, the ones that are not used to big crowds anyways. In Paris, for example, the Louvre remains closed but Institut Giacometti, an institution dedicated to the work of the sculptor Alberto Giacometti, has opened, though all tickets must be booked online and visits have been organized within 20-minute time slots.
Inside the Institute, there is the reconstruction of Giacometti's atelier, temporary exhibitions, a permanent collection of drawings and prints by Giacometti, and a library.
